guys!!! Was going thrugh the syllabus and found this line: functions of smooth and elastic mucles in gas exchange system? can enyone explain?? where are they located exactly and what are their functions!? thanks in advance!) :( :D :oops:

Smooth Muscle cells are located in the trachea, bronchus & terminal bronchioles, these basically don't have a specific function in the gaseous system Just know that they contract & relax to adjust the tiny diameter of the bronchioles
Elastic Fibres are present in the alveolar walls, they stretch during breathing & recoil during expiration..
