AoA!
Warner: I have never before looked at a Stats paper until just now and have never really studied the subject. Nevertheless, I hope with all sincerity that my try below would help you.
(i) P (winning two Gold) = 2/12 x 3/16 = 1/32
P (winning two Silver) = 3/12 x 4/16 = 1/16
P ( winning two Bronze) = 9/16 x 7/12 = 21/64

(ii) Common sense suggests that if the game is to be fair the amount of money earned by the contestants should be equal to the amount charged.
=> Amount charged = (1/32 x 10) + (1/16 x 5) + (21/64 x 2)
= 5/16 + 5/16 + 21/32
= (10 + 10 + 21) / 32
= 41/32
approximately equal to $1.28 (to 2 d.p.)

(iii) This part tells you that the amount charged is actually $2 whereas a contestant can only earn $1.28 through the game as calculated above. So obviously, he/she would suffer a LOSS which can be calculated by simple subtraction = $(2 - 1.28) = $ 0.72.

(iv) Similar to (i).
P (winning two Gold) = 5/28 x 4/27 = 5/189
P(winning two Silver) = 7/28 x 6/27 = 1/18
P (winning two Bronze) = 16/28 x 15/27 = 20/63.

(v) Similar to (ii).
Amount charged for fair game = (5/189 x 10) + (1/18 x 5) + (20/63 x 2)
= 50/189 + 5/18 + 40/63
= (100 + 105 + 240)/378
= 445/378
approx. equal to $1.18.

(vi) For this new game, the contestant would have to suffer a LOSS of $(2 - 1.18) = $0.82. This is greater than the loss of $0.72 as in the previous game so compared to the original game, this new game is to the disadvantage of the contestant. (Poor contestant, should've calculated the probabilities before eh? :p )

Well I was a bit confused because Probability in Maths is much easier that in Statistics !! :)

Statistics is infact the easier part of Mathematics. It's the scoring one. You can get alot of marks for just drawing graphs and stuff, which is always an advantage for you.

Probability is the main part of Statistics. ;) In A'level Mathematics the name of one of the papers is "Statistics and Probability". :p So you can realise the importance of it.
