and do you know what (charts and tables are not split and fit within the column)mean?how do i ensure that

it means that your chart and tables should not be in 2 columns

there r two options to create the summary.. either u can do it while making the query.. there is a option called summary..
or while making the report. group the columns first and then one option comes as summary...
