To Q3 (c) (i) The ratio is 1600.
This means that in the same volume, there are 1600 times as many water molecules in liquid as in gas.
The "amount" or "number" is relevant to a 3-D space, while "distance" "separation" is a 1-D value.
So simply get the cubic root of 1600: about 11.7 That's the ratio of separation.

Q4 (a)(i) Draw a tangent to the curve at the origin and calculate its gradient directly from the graph.

(ii)Connect point (0,0) (0.3,8.0)
Also connect (0.3,8.0) (0.6,0) And two triangles (or one large triangle) are obtained.
Total area of the triangle = 8.0 * 0.6 / 2 = 2.4 cm
There are still some small regions between the triangle edge and the curve
estimate the area of this region and add to area of triangle.
Then the total area you get is the distance moved.

(b) (i) Use the gradient of the tangent calculated in (a)(i), multiply by the mass of the trolley.

(b) (ii) The force is decreasing as time goes by. The gradient (or derivative) of the curve decreases as time increases, that means the acceleration goes down. a = F / m, mass remains the same, so the force must be decreasing.
