How do acidified potassium dichromate (VI) and potassium magnanate (VII) Change colour???

acidified potassium dichromate changes from orange to green in the company of a reducing agent, cuz itself it is an oxidising agent.
acidified potassium manganate changes from purple to colourless in the company of a reducing agent cuz irself it is an oxidising agent.
