Using Blue pointers in CIE - allowed?

Hi and Aoa to everyone.

Are Blue Dollar pointers allowed in CIE? I heard that now the ink pens are not allowed since they cause trouble when scanning the papers and sending them to checkers. We candidates can use gel pens, ball points and any pen with permanent ink like the types of pens mentioned above. If anyone has any info on if we can use blue pointers in CIE, kindly let me know.

i think blue pointers are allowed but it is good to use black pointers or ballpoints because black is a dark colour nd is easily visible when scanning papers

That's not true.I used a fountain pen in my CIEs last year and still got A* and As

It is written that we can use anything with permanent ink. Fountain pen uses the ink which can be easily removed by ink removers and water sometimes. To prevent this, they have written specially that anything with permanent ink. By the way, the rules change from time to time.

Fountain pens ruin paper when there is alot of humidity it spreads and it spoils the paper ,It might not be ''Banned'' but it is discouraged because of the reason stated
