well dude as far as i am concerned any subject is not difficult at all..........people make it difficult for themselves and sometimes make others realize the same thing..............A proper phrase reflects its explanation: "A man can do what a man has done." This means that if anyone can get an A or A* in that difficult subject then you can also get as you are a human just like him or her.
But on the other hand even if you fail............then don't just give up.............as i believe that giving up is the biggest failure.................if a person keeps on trying and learn from his mistakes then he can make his life better..............otherwise don't even dare to expect that your life would get much better................since these failures are what make us an "experienced explorers"
Moreover if you wish the you can retake the exam of the subject in which you failed.
So just chill my pal.................don't worry

oh my pal...............i didn't mean that.............i was just trying to explain this guy that if anyone ,no matter from what place, can pass or get highest marks in that difficult subject then surely you can also do because we all are born equal and all of us are humans. But what you said was right in one way..........yeah in some way we can say that it depends on a man's ability..................but i would say that at least if you put an effort, although the reward which you will get in the end might be less compared to others, yet it would surely make you proud that at least you earned this value from the "sweat of your eye brow"
