Hello guys i'm going to be doing my O levels over the next year and a half and i need to know what subjects i should take. In University i will be doing a business degree as i'll have to take over the families business after i am finished. I also have no plans on going to Uni in Pakistan.

So far i'm thinking Urdu B (i can't read or write it but hopefully i'll be able to pull of at least a C after tutions),
Eng Lang, Maths (Not the best at but with lots of studying and practice i think i can become good at it), Islamiyat, Economics, Business Studies, Socio and one more subject i'm not sure of currently.

I'd like to hear your opinions on what i should take.

I have one questions and Eco and Business Studies I have heard that in A levels Business studies becomes half credited if i take it along with Eco is this true? One thing is when i do start my A levels the business studies subject for A levels would have been replaced by the new subject called Business so maybe i won't have that issue when the time comes.

For the last subject i was thinking Environmental Management as i enjoy geography and i have heard it's a pretty easy subject. I'm only going to be taking 8 subjects because i'm doing it in a year and a half and don't want to put too much pressure on myself.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say.

You can take 'Commerce', which is literally a piece of cake. People complete its entire course in 1-2 weeks and score an A*.
I personally studied it only the day before my Cambridge exam. Ended up with an A.

If you want a more valued and useful subject, then ''Principle of Accounts'' is the typical choice for Business students.
Accounting is a useful tool for people handling their businesses. Knowledge about Accounts never hurts, even if you plan to hire an Accountant later on.

I suggest you not to take Environmental Management. It is a very easy subject, but not for everyone. It has a lot of Science related stuff, and even people who study Science subjects in O-level struggle with it, and i personally know many people who got B's in it after studying extremely hard for it. It does not hold much value and you might find it hard. And it is also extremely boring. You have to study about rocks, and stones and other crap. Believe me, I have studied it. I didn't even feel like opening the book once. Barely got myself to open it 3 days before the exam.

So to sum it all up. If you want something easy, go for Commerce. If you want a challenge, then Principle of Accounts.

And Yes, Business studies becomes half-credit when taken along with Economics in A-Level.
