Okay. 4TH EDITION WHAT THE BLOODY HELL
The 4th Edition is only recommended if you will give Sociology in 2014.
The 2013 syllabus recommends 3rd Edition. I have this one but I haven't started yet, However, get the 3rd edition asap.

On this forums search for Cecil Jacob's Guide to Sociology, copy his post and everything and print it out.
Go through them, read the past papers and marking schemes, then start studying for Sociology, also refer to:
http://www.tutor2u.net/sociology/gcse-sociology.html This is the best notes you can get for Sociology for free.
Only use these notes as a reference though.
thanks! but many people have said that get the latest of the editions? I have searched for cecil Jacob's guide to Sociology but did net get the thread plz post the web link, like u did for tutor2u.Well, briefly explain me what this guide is all about?I am xtreemmly thnakful for ur help.
