Which should i take for A2

I did AS maths this november and I'm doing the A2 in june.
I took papers 12 and 42 (pure 1 and mechanics 1)
should i take paper mechanics 2 or statistics 1?
Idk which to take and if it actually matters. I'd rather take statistics 1 because its supposedly easier but I'm going to engineering university so will it matter or not?
I live in egypt :)
