Which Smartphone do you recommend?

Hey Everyone =)

I'm kind of new to smartphones and I've decided to buy one but the more I search the more confused I get

What I'm searching for is something that has the following;

reasonable battery life
skype (video call)
strong (I'm a bit clumsy )
WhatsApp and GPS are a MUST
GOOD Wifi/internet connection

MOST Importantly => Price MUST be less that $512 { 2000 Emarati Dirhams} !!

I'd really appreciate it if you guys help me in narrowing down my options =)

Battery Time is a drawback..
Xperia is better.

S2's good, but quite big to carry down in the pocket! And I don't think Xperia's battery time is bad, its better than the other smart phones.

Well it only lasts 6 hours because of it's fancy (many ) pixels screen, so it's kinda unreasonable don't u think ?

Well every phone nowadays comes with a fancy screen and HD picture quality, and still Xperia's battery doesn't last for just 6 Hours, it goes for a day!

do u know someone whose got the phone already ?....My sister has xperia ray and it's battery sucks big time can't last for a day for sure =/

Yeah my brother has one, I guess it's Xperia Arc S, and it's battery time lasts for mostly a day with all the stuff going at the same time!
And for samsung phones, I don't think their battery time is better than Sony.

It says, the charger ep851 charges the battery quickly but you have to buy it separately! And the plauback time, standby time and video playback time has been improved with the new battery in this SL model.

Ok the best Phone since you want "whatsapp" and GPS would either be the iPhone or Nokia Lumia , whatsapp just has a better feeling to it with iPhones and Windows phones such as the Nokia Lumia . Both phones have incredible bettery life , can download skype app or use FaceTime with iPhone . Both of them fill your specs

bro dont buy xperia coz u will face a lot of problem in the software coz i own a xperia sola i had a lot of problem

I'd recommend Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I'll be getting it soon myself!
