Wht ESL gt is out of 200 instead of 100??????

The maximum total mark for this syllabus is 200.
It was like this since I was born
and also because its three papers (3 components)
and this from most subjects not only English as a second language

but for other subjects its already out of 200
Its actually before not many people get good grades when the total is actually 200 they convert it to 100 but this year they left it as it is 200 and that's why grades were unexpected
If they did it would be obviously low

yea I got C, but the problem I was always highest in english in my class and sme of the lower students got Bs and As...it's strange and I actually expected an A!
