stretch ....along x-axis .......y-axis is the invariant line......the stretch factor is 2

why is it a strch??? and is it a two way strech??? because i think the traingle has been streched from both its side.

its one way....y-axis is invariant line.....so the stretch will b away from the y-axis and the object will expand in both direction

in two way stretch ...stretch is two different directions with two factors which may b same or different.....as this one is in one directioni.e. along x-axis so one way stretch.

two-way stretch is a COMBINATION OF 2 One-way stretches.simple!
so first find the image under the first stretch and then transform the image to find the final image under 2nd stretch
