World History - Query ( Urgent )

I was genuinely interested in World history since i was in O levels. But I couldn't pursue it till this year in my A2. I need to switch over my subjects to Economics from Sciences, so I thought of taking World history in the start of A2, and give it whole this year. Is it possible ? Could anyone who's already taken History or is currently enrolled in it, advise me? I really need help on this matter because I want to get out of Engineering for good.

Accelerated world history is EXTREMELY hard. Even if you're an exceptional student, I don't think you'll be able to do it. I gave AS whs and got a B. It's really really difficult.
