They probably include the practicals (paper 5). But you just did Paper 3, Paper 1 and Paper 6 it's 160 in total.I still don't understand the threshold fully. How come they say the total marks are 200 when it's clearly 160 if you're taking Papers 1,3 and 6? Can someone please explain this to me?

Which year was this? Thanks, but for one year I found that the threshold was 156/160? Can it actually be that high?
Which year was this?
No, I don't think so. But normally the A* threshold ranges between 145-160.I forget now. I'll let you know ASAP. And even for Paper 5 (practical) the maximum marks are 40 which still gives a grand total of 160 marks. Do you think they multiply our marks/total by a factor so that it equals 200?
So the thresholds that they always give are out of 200?I heard that they multiply each paper by 1.25 and then add them all ,
as (80*1.25)+(40*1.25)+(40*1.25)=200
it make sense but am not sure about it.
Oh right, thanks!!Dont worry though , every year's A grade is just about 48 and lower , it doesnt cross 50 , so 65+ would be enough
thats truePredicting your grades bring bad luck, and causes depression when expectations are not met.
Yes, for most of subjects i saw it was 200So the thresholds that they always give are out of 200?
Well,what did you find difficult?plllzzzz
it was not tht easy
i think they multiply or else in the ms they would give the total of 4 papers rather than 3I forget now. I'll let you know ASAP. Same expecting 70+i expect 70 + on varient 2 >>>>> it was hard but my only problem was with the waves
If i get 160/200 and the A* boundary is 160 then will it day 80 percent,A* or 90 percentile A* in my report?Yes , as i said check the marks curve of 2012 ,2011,2010 , the highest A is 48
