Hello all,

I don't understand what it is that they are asking on question 3) b) ii), about stretching the shape through the y-axis invariant. What do they mean by this and how would I plot the shape?

Thanks in advance,

A.T.

You have to perform a stretch transformation, with y-axis invariant, which means the y-coordinates of the figure must not change. In simple words, you only have to stretch it horizontally with a scale factor 1.5

I see. And if there was a x-axis variant, then the x coordinate (the width) wouldn't change either, right?
