Never heard of aerial hypha, but since you wrote hypha you should get the 1mark.
well fungi have two type of hyphae, feeding hyphae(undergroung) and aeral hyphae(above shoot) but hyphae is enough for the answer since they ddnt specify any characteristics of the hyphae

Oki..a couple of questions..
1) labelling the seed..i wrote seed coat instead of testa and cotyledon but for the other two i knew one was plumule and one was radicle but which one was which?
2)DNA for species question~~?
3)Enzymes~lock and key method..i explained how it works and then gave an example that the starch could be broken down to a monosaccharide. but i mixed up the example and instead of writing glucose i wrote sucrose..[will i get penalized for that]
4) 3 things mammals have that reptiles don't = four chambered heart, mammary glands and fur/hair [correct?]
5)mammals surviving cold conditions = warm blooded, muscles rhythmically contract so shivering, fur/hair traps the air making it warm, layer of fat insulating it..i didnt write vasoconstriction but would they consider the warm blooded as something like that :p
6)no need of blood typing/fusing for cornea~ the antibodies dont attack it [correct?]
7) yield decreases= soil becomes infertile and loss of water+denitrifying bacteria convert all the nitrates to nitrogen,so poor plant growth [one of my friends wrote leaching and disease..would my answer be correct?]
8) the blood capillary and skin repairing... blood clot,fibrin..anything else we had to mention?

for 5) How about if we mentioned adipose layerr,a layer of fats
6) I wrote because cornea has no blood vessels, but some of my friends say that everyone's cornea is same therefore it does not be rejected
The rest are quite similar :)

I'll tell you what I wrote, it doesn't mean that these are the CORRECT answers.
1)One inside was pumule, outside was radicle.. I got that wrong :s
2)BY looking at there DNA we can observe the different genese present, and compare them.
3)It's okay if you messed up an example, I didn't even use an example .. shit.
4)For that mammal question I wrote, external ears, mamary glands , hair/fur.
5)If you wrote enough points worth of 5 marks for the mammals surviving in cold conditions, it should be fine.
6)For the cornea one , thing is that everyone has similiar type of cornea and it doesn't have antigens. Think you had to write it doesn't have antigens first, and then explain that antibodies won't attack it.
7)Dunno about your yield answer, I wrote soil lacks minerals, and due to soil erosion.
8)For the blood clotting one you had to mention whatever you saw in the diagram, phagocytes, capillaries being damaged and a new one being formed to join the damaged ones, scab being formed, skin healing underneath, etc.

Im positive lol, because I wrote for the one inside "Embryo" and the one outside pumule xD
I wrote the opposite of the right answer. I guess I over-studied that caused me to panic as I saw the 19 pages of the paper. Fingers crossed though** Inshallah, it'll be atleast an A

It should be more then an A bro, threshold was 50/80 for an A last year.. somewhere around that.
The only way you'll get an A is if you lost 30 MARKS! Do you really think you lost that many marks? ..
I lost around 8.. so hopefully A* (InshAllah)

Liver was for deamination andd there wasn't any thing to label for making bile.
There was protein digestion, where water is re-absorbed , insulin production and where is bile added to soften the food.
What did u write for the blood vessels carrying oxygenated blood

Oh don't ask.. Im pretty sure I got those 2 wrong as well. Lost 2 marks there, 2 marks from the seed question, 1 mark from the anti-body question ( I think), 1 mark from the nutrients absorbed question.. These are the ones that are confirmed haha, 6 marks.. But there probably more so around 10 marks lost :S

Thankyou for clearing the doubts =D

Anytime! x)
