Everybody is different. On the contrary, I find this a much shorter answer. And easier to demonstrate via a diagram. Plus, it MAKES SENSE TO ME![]()

for that first part all you have to do is put it such that sun's image is formed on screen
it will be focused at 15 cm
that is it
Thankyou, captain obvious.

you are most welcomeThankyou, captain obvious.
You use cm just like you use data from previous answers. Look at the table and question statement. They are using cm.another question about ATP, plis?
Is it some universal law that we only use metre values in formulas
http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge International O Level/Physics (5054)/5054_w10_qp_41.pdf
Q1.c (iii) They've given us a formula to calculate something from values obtained from previous answers. But they haven't specified which unit to use (cm or m)?
Even though in the previous part (in which we obtained that value), they are accepting BOTH cm and m....
Also where would we place the eye in 1(a) (ii). the marking scheme is vague about this :|
But the answer to the formula wala question in the marking scheme - it's based on metres! I used cm in MY answer and my value was more, by a power of 10, than the answer in the marking scheme. :| I know it's perpendicular to the scale, but would it at the TOP or BOTTOM of the line? top, right? You use cm just like you use data from previous answers. Perpendicular to the dotted line. Make sure your ruler is longer than h0
Longer than HzeroBut the answer to the formula wala question in the marking scheme - it's based on metres! ''Make sure your ruler is longer than h0'' Is ka kya matlab?
Longer than Hzero
Top Line.
It says ecf = easy carry forward. You show your working you get the marks according to that. 11.6 is for meters but it does not say cao (correct answer only) for part 3 but only for part 2 so your answer would also be accepted.
Yes because if ruler is of length Hzero then you don't get the proper reading because there is unknown length between edge of ruler and zero mark and edge of ruler and end mark (15 cm, 30 cm etc)i know u meant H zero, but my ruler being bigger than H zero?? You mean my EYE should be above H0?
So I scored 26, not 25, yayy!!.
Do you have a book?-describe experiments to show electrostatic charging by
friction
- describe experiments to show the force on
a beam of charged particles in a magnetic field
how'd u prepare for thiiis?
I Ctrl+F-ed ''experiments'' in the syllabus. GENIUS ^^
Offcourse I.... dont : P , but it doesn't mention how we can SET UP the experiment....I mean how are we gonna acquire a beam of charged particles?Do you have a book?

I figured out the static electricity wala part myself.

Q7(a) here. If u know the correct answer to this one, you're a genius. share ur genius with me too, then?
PLEASE DO ANSWER! I'm dependent on your help (nobody's answering on forums)
you can get some phusics revision notes HEREThe syllabus states
''draw scale diagrams to determine the focal length
of a converging lens needed for particular values of
magnification''
How do we do this!
And please read the question carefully before you answer.
