OK, for b) part you need to know the concept of stationary waves. Do you have the physics coursebook?

Oye, thanks yaar.Because B is farther away from the nucleus. It's farthur away so the repulsion will be less with the nuclus. Hence less deflection. The deviation angle will be smaller.
