    I can help you with the last four except the first one as it also was a doubt for me 2nd doubt: 40 divisions on eyepiece graticule=0.1mm 1 division on eyepiece= o.1/40=0.0025 or 2.5 micrometres so 1 division on eyepiece=2.5 micro 10 micro= 10/2.5=4 3rd doubt: you should read the question...

    maths p32 answers

    It looks like I got the angles wrong ..but they wont cut all the marks! YAY yesss I split it this wayyy! :D even the first question ln(x+1)=2 ln(x-1) I did (x+1)=e^(2 ln(x-1)) haha I dont think this is ryte..u did the same?

    wlcm :) ya the average value also works, but I usually use the 1st value given..works for me! (A)

    I actually use 1 whenever they dont tell me the initial value..UNLESS they tell us the values which will show a change of sign in the equation, I use the first value given (as the root is between these 2 values)

    first, when they told you the tangent at point P passes through the origin and if you draw a straight line ..to find the gradient you will do (y-0)/(x-0) and so you will the gradient for the tangent at P = y/x then, from the dy/dx equation you got above, make it equal to y/x so .. e^-x...

    Sorry for replying late :$ no u made something wrong! yes it is (-3ln (1) + 2 ln 5 ) - (-3ln (2) + 2 ln 4) which gives you --> 2 ln 5 + 3 ln 2 - 2 ln4 then --> ln 25 + 3 ln2 - 4ln2 --> ln 25 - ln 2 so , ln (25/2)

    you must have this integrated equation (-3 ln (2-x) + 2 ln (4+x^2)) got this?

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

    Integrating this gives you ---> ln (1+x^2)/2
