    Everyone's Results

Can someone help me guess my grade in maths? I got the exact threshold for A last may/june. I gave paper 12 and 62, i think. I gave 32 and 42 this time, and I did very bad on the 32, okay on 42. I think I'll lose around 24-34 marks in paper 32.

    How was physics paper 4

This paper will probably have the highest threshold we have ever seen in Physics, I just floated through the pages, and finished half an hour early. If you haven't given the test, I advise you to focus much less on the applications section, just go over the few main points. They are wayyy easier...

    How was Chemistry 42?

I was lucky to remember at the last moment to subtract -1 from the shifts due to presence of arene. And I was going to mention exactly what you did. The nmr was freaking insane, couldn't see if it was a triplet or doublet. Why the hell do they need to mess up a graphic created by a computer???

I don't think you read my post correctly, I said I could solve NONE of those.

    How was Chemistry 42?

It's really hard to just "chill", I'm still shaken from that mathematics paper 32 I took immediately afterward. And I think that the applications portion usually determines most of the threshold, and it was quite easy compared to the previous years' papers. The rest was moderately difficult, but...

    How was Chemistry 42?

So you mean a phenol with ch2cl right? Does it matter where we place the oh and ch2cl groups in the ring?

    How was Chemistry 42?

Hey, many found it hard, but I guess the ones who found it easy are on their study desks and not here. So the thresholds can't be predicted.

    Chem P42

If you haven't given the test yet and are looking for hints to what the questions were, buzz off. I can only tell you that more than a few questions were repeated, so study=success. I think the applications portions were very easy, there was almost nothing difficult asked (and by difficult, of...

    Mathematics 9709/32

Am I wrong when I say this was the toughest paper till yet? I got stuck in middle in three of the questions: 1. The one where you have to find x of the maximum point (the one with the funny-looking graph), and I'm not sure if I remember well that that was what we had to find. 2. First question...

Can someone please summarize chromatography for me? I will love you forever for that.

The application booklet gives a bit more excess than I think I need. So please summarize the main points, what I should know, please

I keep seeing "Kupffer cells" in the old past papers....was this portion removed from the syllabus or should I go further into it?

Physics Paper 5 essentials for the "Planning" section (Generalized points to help you score better!)

Ok, so these are just a few tips so you can remember what exactly you have to write to get marks. These points are common to all papers (with a very very few exceptions). Still, I'm no expert and do not guarantee anything! Part 1: Identify dependent variable, Identify independent...
