    How was accounting p42?

Yep, you basically had to make a "mini" cash flow statement adding profit from operations, depreciation charges, increase in inventories, trade receivables and so on. It WASN'T the balancing figure.

    Economics P21

Neither did I! We could have mentioned it as part of the intro but I'm sure not mentioning it won't cost us marks. It was not required. I defined money, inflation and a brief paragraph listing its functions. Then I wrote about 4 paragraphs, explaining all the functions and the effects of...

    Economics P21

why did you write so much? :/ you could have just written 4 points each with brief explanation... however if the examiners see correct points in your answer they will mark it right ignoring unnecessary information! :) Tip: Go for quality, not quantity/length! That's what my teacher always says! :P

Ikr? 91.5% is like impossible. I'm sure it should have been 9.15% or so atleast this makes sense. Even 22.5% is impossible because the country never had such high rates of inflation in recent years. Around 9-10%. It didn't even mention hyperinflation so its not possible.

    Economics P21

HAHAHAHA did the same! Really went well Alhamdulillah! I got my answers similar to these, but HOW THE HELL CAN A COUNTRY HAVE AN INFLATION RATE OF 91.5% I MEAN THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE AT ALL?

Economics, Accounting & Business: Post your doubts here!

QUOTAS are an upper limit to the amount of goods that can be imported into the country. It is a supply factor. For quota there isn't any proper diagram, just that the supply curve shifts inwards (towards the left) and becomes PERFECTLY INELASTIC (vertical sloping supply curve).

Economics, Accounting & Business: Post your doubts here!

they are techniques used to measure the success by a devaluation of currency. Marshall Lerner is a condition that states that the devaluation of currency will only be successful if the sum of the elasticities of imports and exports are GREATER THAN 1. J curve is similar to the marshal lerner...

I know that. I don't like to repeat my words either. Well, let me say it again. Use SOME of the retained profit available, sell SOME of the non current assets, and arrange an overdraft for the remainder. Now please. If you still wanna argue on something that's over, go ahead and waste all your...

    BUSINESS PAPER 22

i wrote since the company is experieicing rapid growth in sales and profits, bank managers wont hesitate to provide loans and overdrafts facility. So to raise the 50k in the most cost effective way, the business should do so partly by internal sources, such as using retained profits and existing...

    BUSINESS PAPER 22

yepss democratic style.. i mentioned its ineffective as workers are making incorrect decisions/votes so he should adapt an autocratic style... involve less decentralisation but do keep in touch with employees to avoid alienation and low morale. the manager should delegate tasks to the workers...
