for question 3 u taking the moments about the point where the hemisphere and the inclined wall meets. then we have a x sin(alpha) x M = m x a x (1 - sin(alpha)) and we can deduce that from part (i) sin (alpha) < 1/(root5) we put sin(alpha) as 1/root5, the we can get the answer! and the...

did u mean by question2? i am sure the question 3 is correct, the capacitance is 1800 micro farad. by using the gradient, so (18 x 10^-3) - (9 x 10^-3) then divided by 5v gives me 0.0018 farad, which is equal to 1800 farad. if u meant by q3, i am not sure, but the only way i could calculate...

intensity is proportional to ampliotude squred and frequency squred but frequency is constant so only take amplitude^2 at source the amplitude was 2mm and 6.0cm apart was 1.2mm therefore (2^2)/(1.2^2) = 2.78 not 3.33 idk how did u get 3.33 i guess u did (2^2)/1.2 = 3.33 ?

i guess between 45-47 for A ( they never go up above 47 in past papers) and 42-45 for B cuz A and B is not very much difference in marks but grade.

few alpha particles deviated by an angle of 10 degree and the second answer is extremely few (or fewer) alpha particles deviated by an angle of more than 90 degree

i actually worked out max voltage and minimum voltage ( max: 4.3v min: 3. sth,) so the max voltage is no more than 5 therefore if we use 5 voltmeter instead of 10 voltmeter, we could measure more specifialy. i am not sure tho i just guessed it wasn easy paper, kinda tricky

just wondering the skeching the area, i tot the area between curves represent loss of enery such thermal energy! and similar question is in may/june 2002 paper 1 question24, if it's the area between the curves, there is no answer for the question so i doubt it!!

in M1 it's just simple question that's the answer, 14.3N and it says draw a vector triangle otherwise..... that means u had to draw a vector triangle.
