    How was your Phy p2 and p5? Mine was terrible.

    I appeared for Physics 52. It was very easy. Much more easier than what I was expecting. However , for not well prepared candidates it obviously will be hard. The uncertainties method for Q no 2 is not new. An exact similar question was asked in May/June - 2010 - Variant 1 - Q2.

    Sorry , that will be 5 divided by 15 X 10^ -3 . The rest is same

    For the First Value , that is V = 5.00 +/- .2 I = ( 15 +/- .2 ) X 10 ^ -3 The method is in the image In this way , the answer is 17.78 which is equal to +/- 18

    physics p5 discussion

    No. The error will be ( log 20.2 - log 19.8 ) / 2 If you don't divide by two , none of the answers match the markscheme.

    I guess the only way that could have happened is the significant figures used in the calculation of the gradient got cancelled of each other therefore not making a difference. But it is necessary to add them. You can check M/J - 2010 - Variant 1 - Q2. That one has a graph with a 10^-3 axis.

    physics p5 discussion

    Yes , you obviously have to add that. Thats the part of your either Y or X axis value so you cannot ignore that.

    gradient = -54.8 +/- 5.6 Mass absorption co - effiecient = (4.85X 10^-3 +/- .0005 )

    I am having some problems with the questions in MAY / JUNE - 2010 - Variant 2 Question No 1 - What in the world is a Hall probe? Did anyone write the answer for this question? If so , can you please guide me in the right direction. This problem is in May / June - 2010 - Variant 1 Question No...

    ^ I have the same question. How do we actually calculate the error bars. A formula or general technique will be very helpful!

    Anybody else do Math P32???

    I think the grade threshold for 32 should be around 60 to 62. It was lengthy , but not difficult.

    Anybody else do Math P32???

    I took paper 32 today. Was easy , I was actually expecting a difficult paper. Specially vectors was very easy. If I don't do silly mistakes , insha'Allah I'll end up with 69/75. I don't think we can discuss answers now , right?
