How'd your physics Papers go ?

Second last part: P=VI Voltage was 240V, Current was 1.6A so 240x1.6 = 384W. Last part: First we had to calculate the combined voltage dropped across the 2 lead resistors by V=IR that is 1.6x5 = 8V. Then using P=VI we could find how much power was lost overcoming the resistance of the lead...

O level Physics (easy paper ) just tell how was it don't discuss the question till tomorrow !!

It was 2P/3. Once the tap is opened the 2 containers will seemingly become one container, and not ALL the air particles will move from container A to container B, because container A had 200cm3 of air in it, while container B's capacity was only 100cm3. So when 100cm3 of air will move to...

O level Physics (easy paper ) just tell how was it don't discuss the question till tomorrow !!

Alhamdolilah it went reasonably well. If the ATP goes equally well then an A* shouldn't be much of a problem, if not then an A is secured for sure inshAllah :)

How'd your physics Papers go ?

Alhamdolilah it went well although it could have been better since there were a few tricky MCQs and 2-3 doubtful parts in the theory but overall I'm satisfied with my performance :) what do you guys think about the grade threshold for physics this year?

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

This is an interesting one :) the answer is D. They are asking in which direction is the frictional force acting on the WHEEL, not the car. If it was the car, then the answer would be B. Picture this, if the car is moving towards the left, then obviously the wheels will move in an anticlockwise...

    how were bio papers?

Yes it was a continuous variation, even though bar charts are used for discontinuous variations and the height of pea plants is also a discontinuous variation according to Mendel's pea plant experiment, however he only performed the experiment classifying them into 2 categories i.e tall and...

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

My guess is that the answer should be D. 3 because in circular motion there is always a force acting towards the center i.e the centripetal force. 4 because in circular motion the displacement is constantly changing i.e there is no fixed direction, so according to velocity = displacement/time...

    how were bio papers?

Paper 2 - Section A was just a bit tricky and doubtful in some parts, and also 2, 3 MCQs but the rest was fairly easy and it went well by the grace of Allah :)

Hey hey! thanks for the follow :) well the preparation is going good, but was it enough I guess i'll find out tomorrow after BIO 1/2 haha :D you tell, how have the exams been so far and how's the prep for the rest? good luck!

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

Then dont worry, you should be able to score a mark because if you see the first page of the theory and ATP mark schemes for sciences, it clearly states that examiners should award marks to candidates who give alternative answers with a correct approach. The marking in sciences is really...

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

No its not necessary to do the yearly past papers if you have already done all the topicals, they are both the same but just arranged in different order :)

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

It will be 0.3 mol as the percentage change in length of the potato at that time is ZERO according to the graph's corresponding value. That means the water potential in the potato and outside the potato is equal so no water is moving in or out of the potato, hence the potato will not increase or...

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

Same :D I'm pretty certain that's what we were supposed to draw. Anyways, good luck for p1 and p2! :)

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

I dont think so :O I mean I drew the granule IN which Y was labelled, not only that small thing labelled Y. That confused me aswell a bit when I first saw it :D but I'm pretty sure we had to draw the granule in which Y was labelled, what about you though?

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

Be rest assured you will get marks for the decimaled answers, its infact the rounded answers that are doubtful like mine since it was clearly stated to calculate the MEAN :P and drawing unclear lines will not make a difference in the starch granule question as that was only for 2 marks and those...

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

Nope they haven't. They did give a question in which we had to average the results of the increase in potato tuber's lengths once, and for that obviously the decimaled answers were the correct ones :D but this is the first time that they gave something in which the answers depended on the...

    Biology Paper 6 ( ATP)

My guess is that both decimal and rounded answers will be accepted, because the question asked for the mean number of CORRECT RESPONSES by the student. Even though the mean is the exact value obtained for accuracy, how can the number of responses given by the student be 9.75 etc? I mean 75%...

    BIO 5090/62 help

It is possible that whole numbered answers will be accepted in this question aswell since the mean asked for the average number of the CORRECT RESPONSES by the student. Your right that mean is the exact value obtained for accuracy, but a student cant give 9.75 responses, I mean he was 75% yes...

    BIO 5090/62 help

In the question related to the nervous system, in which we had to fill the table averaging the result of the student's correct responses I think the answers were 9.75, 8.25 and 6.25 but I wrote them rounded to the nearest whole number i.e 10, 8 and 6. Will this cause deduction in marks for me or...
