10 - if a solution contains non-reducing sugars as well, then after hydrolyzing the color degree (relating it to the reducing sugar conc) must increase, eg. if it was blue before, after hydrolyzing it became orange. this happens in 1 and 3 only. 21 - the answer is C :P 28 - ok the vessels...

if its a straight line then you can use the formula, definitely! but if its a curve or something, the examiners intent is to make us use the area (saw in the examiners report :P)

you can do that as well, but then you have to take care that the value you get is not accurate, and i think you get 3.3 you have to add the extra bit of the curve shape, so we might get confused whether it should be 3.55 or 3.6...now its up to ya!

kinglynx here I is directly proportional to 1/d^2 and the graph which shows this is D. and it can not be C cuz when ^2 is zero there is gonna be zero intensity as well, but in C when d^2 is zero...intensity is max, thats wrong. second pic: http://www.animations.physics.unsw.edu.au/jw/SHM.htm...

use the equation R = PL / A here P = resistivity since R = V/ I then V / I = PL / A rearrange to make I the subject, you get I = VA / PL now since P is the same its the same material so ignore it.... the v is now 2v and l is now 2l and since the diameter is doubled the radius is also doubled...

14 - this is a crazy question :p actually the plant cell walls form hydrogen bonds with water molecules so sort of forming a layer of water around them...and so they sort of restrict the movement of water inside the cells...the second part of D is understandable. 40 - the curves for producers...

ok here the trick or rule or whatever.....that the DNA and tRNA will have the same triplet code, BUT DNA has T instead of U, so replace the Us in tRNA codes with T to get the DNA code..... ok in this question...the first a.acid is glycine, which is either CCA or CCU, so apply the rule, the DNA...

the cardiac output is sort of a long term thing, like when a person exercises regularly their cardiac output increases but not for that instant its for a long time. so the vagus nerve causes only a temporary change in the heart rate, this is instantaneous and does not affect the cardiac output.

first calculate the wavelength... lambda = speed / frequency = 340 / 500 = 0.68 now use the formula for phase difference = 360 (x/lambda) where x is the distance between the two waves so phase diff = 360 ( 0.17 / 0.68) = 90 degrees the answers are in radians so just convert 90 degrees is pii/2...

ok here we want an arrangement highly sensitive for small masses and having a low sensitivity for smaller masses. Remembering, F = kx F is constant, so an increase in K will mean a low extension. first you calculate the time using s= ut + 0.5at^2 use s = 1.25 you get t = 0.5 seconds... now cuz teh time is same for both the components... you use speed = d/t use d = 10 and t = 0.5 you get 20 m/s
