    I think you did not read the question properly! It said that find the Mean and SD of the Total Mass of the food tins. It is commonsense that it includes the food itself! :)

    they construct a grade threshold and give marks according to that... then the percentiles are calculated. 90% means ur marks were more than 90% of the students!
