    Emails are of no use. Those are all the same automatic replies. So we have no date for admission offers, we have no idea of our test scores, our merit numbers, the number of students being accepted. Everyone has exams next month, and atleast they could have the courtesy to give a proper date, so...

    Okay this is utterly confusing. Last year, a huge number of students received acceptances on 12th April ( Self Finance ). F.A students were offered admissions exactly a week and a half later.. Second round of Self finance offers were given on 9th/10th May. Almost everyone with 6+ A's in O'levels...

    Same here. I have quite a few friends taking a gap year, who've applied as well. All of them have excellent O'level grades, but none of them got the call about whether they were in any university now. So I dont think its bad. *Fingers Crossed*

    At this time, only F.A students will receive calls. Not for admission, but for representatives from Lums visiting their homes, and reaffirming their financial condition. Though its just a formality; Almost everyone who gets the call can consider themselves admitted. For Non F.A students...

    No. They select on Basis of the schools, not the degree. In this case, MGSHSS, which includes Economics, Politics, B.A English.... So nope. Your chances stay the same whether you apply for Economics, or English or Anthro.

    Are you even remotely serious? Lums is not worth it? There is a reason it is the top ranked institute in the country. We should appear for Sat? What for? Which Pakistani university, apart from Nust( which only accepts a handful of the top scorers) offers admissions on Sat basis? Not everyone...
