    Physics P22 Answer Discussion.

yeah it's straight line connecting PQ length of PQ is 1.2m btw use frequency to find the time period T of the wave which is 0.02s t+5ms= 0.025s which is 1/4 of the wave period. therefore the wave is a flat line.

how was additional mathematics paper 22 ?

was good, did everything correctly but I screwed up in the last question, took wrong co-ordinates, but I won't lost more than 8 marks. hope it all works out

How was Additional Mathematics Paper 1?

variant 2 was more or less easy, made a few minor mistakes that probably lost me about 5 marks maximum. but that's good cause i bagged 75 out of 80 and the pressure is reduced for paper 2!

    Physics Pp:3-Variant 2- Discussing Answers!!

yes I know, this post is very old, before I found out i forgot to add back background radiation.

Amazing notes for physics paper 6!!

i'm not sure, but I guess it means that you have to make a shadow on the spring using light projected straight at it, and then measure the shadow I guess i tried google, i don't get it either!

Amazing notes for physics paper 6!!

fair test for springs, in recent mark schemes I saw that they do not accept "keeping temperature constant" as a valid point. just thickness of spring and length

draw a normal when it moves from deep to shallow it bends towards the normal, therefore the new wavefronts will be CD CF is out of the question (i wonder if anyone chose that) and CE moves AWAY from normal (which is not the case here)

which is harder, Edexcel or CIE?

EDEXCEL IGCSE is easier, as MANY topics are excluded. there's also this older version of EDEXCEL (london examinations or something) that is difficult too (was waay more difficult earlier) at O level stage , CIE is more difficult, CIE IGCSE is very tricky as we are all seeing now.

they should have a range or they will only award full marks for 8 or 9 bulbs because some people thought 31.7 should be 31 -___-

    Physics Pp:3-Variant 2- Discussing Answers!!

yes but for some reason its sinr/sin i since it now travels from optically dense to less dense. otherwise your answer is 0.6 (which is what I got, but i know i'm wrong) sinr = sin90 sin i= sin40 answer should be 1.56 and from common knowledge, glass is always around 1.5

Will Chemistry Paper 3 Will be lyk Physics paper 3? :'( And any one got gud notes for phy paper6 ?

in my opinion, the worst of the paper 3's is biology! in recent years there's not a single question that you directly LEARN about, its entirely applied knowledge. then comes physics, and I underestimated that too, cause I didn't think they would make it that hard. chemistry probably comes third...

    Physics Pp:3-Variant 2- Discussing Answers!!

the index is something around 1.6 refractive index air/refractive index of glass = sin 90/sin 40 since it goes from an optically denser to a medium less dense the equation reverses. and the reasoning for the region question is correct.
