Can someone plz help me with this question. x^3+ax^2-x+b and x^3+bx^2-5x+3a have a common factor of x+2. find the value of a and b.m i tried to suppose x+2=0 so x=-2. i substituted this value in the equ to get a-3b=8. so what next?- Zoya Shahab
