electrophoresis -> cut up DNA strands with restriction enzymes which cleave close to known VNTR regions, place on pure agarose gel, pass D.C current, they move according to size, use absorbent paper to pick them up, and replicate with radioactive nucleotides. we will know if genes are same if...

    How was Biology Paper 42

for section B i chose 9, here are my points: A) prokaryotic cell so smaller then eukaryotic cell, no nucleus, naked DNA, looped DNA, small circular strands of DNA called plasmids, cell wall made of peptidoglycans, may be protected by capsule, do not have double membraned organelles such as...

    How was Biology Paper 42

No i got that, but what i dont understand is why would you make 58.3 percent of the 125? considering the examiner has already told us 125 cm3 has gotten through? and 1200 was the volume occupied by plasma fluid and also OTHER compounds e.g protiens which cant get through basement membrane

Heres some answers: pupfish seperated -> allopatric speciation when rejoined -> directional selection, survival of the fittest plasma percentage -> 125/700 x 100 why calcium2+ comes in -> because voltage gated channels open upon depolarization what does turtles ion channels closing do...

    How was Biology Paper 42

im pretty sure it was just 125/700 x 100... This formulae doesnt make sense, you're multiplying percentage by amount.

    How was physics paper 4

first we give 95 joules then we take out 125 joules overall system has net loss of 125-95= 30J since no thermal energy given/taken from system system falls even further below 297 as 297 would have been if 0 joules loss/gain.

    How was Chemistry 42?

Not really, there are ALOT of people out there who dont even study, or who just dont get the question etc and bring the GT low :)

AS Chemistry Practical - Paper 34

my values for Q1 was 13 cm3 then derive via moles for Q2 i had exact 23.5 then derive via moles my salt order was 6,8,7,7,5,6 in that order. OH in 5, Fe in 6, Pb in 8, I- in 7, And i think Zn2+ also in 7 anion was SO42- test was Na2CO3 for carboxylic acid, 2,4 DNPH [Dinitrophenylhydrazine] for...
