    Initial momentum = mv = 0.035 x 4.5 = 0.1575 kgm/s (downwards) Final momentum = mu= 0.035 x -3.5 = -0.1225 kgm/s Change in momentum= mu-mv = -0.1225 - 0.1575 = -0.28 so now it's upwards Force = change in momentum / time Force= -0.28/0.14 = 2N Upwards

    cause the weight is 4N .. and since the string remains taught.. it doesnt move horizontally.. the tension is the same as the weight.. doesn't change.

    OMG AAAAAHAHAHHAHAAHAHA good job xD! We do our exams at school... and there's only four chem students.. so its like really intense, and we are spread all over the lab- cant do shit like tha!

    no, you are allowed to get more chemicals they just have to note it down on your paper that you asked for more. Doggybros Also, I had a similar practical, it was 33 though.. I basically put the wrong solution in the burette.. wasted it all cause I titrated aganst it... so I finished two...

    dont worry.. we all messed up, i couldnt even answer that entire organic page with the c=o and the Na question.. i like crossed everything out ..though i think i drew it right. and i couldnt answer the NMR shit or the drug shit or the enthalpy shit or the rate shit.. so dont worry!
