    Damn 3 questions were so so so so difficult..but managed to scrape through :).... I have never seen such a paper....It looked like an Applied Biological and Physiological Paper.. Damn Damn you CIE....I thought June was supposed to be an easy session.

    a and the question said in theory, so it can be assumed that 19.8 is arbitarily close 20.

    the 19.8 can be rounded off to 20...it is arbitarily very close to 20.... so 20/2=10.... however in the case of your curve, the curve may be accepted and no mark will be deducted...however the focal legth is not 5

    no this is wrong, u made the graph pass through (20,20), it actually passed through (20,19.8)....do not assume values theoretically.... the focal length was 10, not 5

    No penalty is applied on crossing neatly through any answer which you do not think is appropriate. You can cross it out with a pencil or a pen, but clearly, otherwise if it is visible, the part which you have crossed out may be marked. After crossing out something, it is better to write it after...
