    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

lmao got something wrong for sure. q7 was a piece of cake, don't talk abt that. i think it was something to do with the two tensions and an external force question :P

It was not very tough. Took a while to solve but I left out one part though :P And got another one wrong. Guess I'm satisfied with 57 :P

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

Time management was a pain. I normally take 30 min to finish any normal mechanics paper but I took exactly the provided time. I was surprised... Oh look a LoL fan... I don't play LoL but you should meet up with a friend of mine. Here's a little bio abt him:

Lololol not everyone found it easy. To be honest, it was very simple. We can't expect the same pattern every year... Q7 was a fine example of showing if you learnt how to solve mechanics past papers or the subject of mechanics. PS: If I don't get 50, I'd get 48. Yuss!

I'm assuming it's a diffraction grating question as you have cut off the first part of the question AND the paper number -.- Second order maxima, thus n = 2 substituting in dsin x = n times wavelength, you get d. now d is the fringe spacing. The number of fringes in 1m is 1/fringe spacing. I'm...

18 - Ah I remember this one... cheeky one. Question says FOUR KINDS OF Amino Acids, thus maybe the same tRNA can bring them back and forth? Four different AAs need only four types of tRNA, and maybe a few tRNA molecules make more than one trips... Answer - 4 16 - Google tells me that pairing up...

Um so u knw the blood that enters the ventricle during diastole is what is pumped up through the aorta or pulmonary artery right? That blood is called the ventricular end diastolic volume. Now the stoke volume is the blood that is pumped by the ventricle out of the heart (like into the aorta)...

19 is C as during the first generation, due to semi conservative replication, half the nucleotides are made using 14-N. Thus the new bacteria contain half 14-N and half 15-N. The second gen, the bacteria contain 50% 14N and 50% 15N before replication, and when it replicates, it becomes 75% 14n...

I think it's D coz Ventricular end diastolic volume can rise but there is a limit as to how much blood the heart can pump. Thus there is a limit to the maximum stoke volume...

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

Think there is a seperate post for that with a poll. Pls check there. I guess it will be like 40-45 ish Hardly any organic (but not all people found that one easy) and only periodicity, it would be average...

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

Some people find organic easy. Some people find periodicity easy. It all depends on the person... It was an average paper IMO. Neither too hard, nor too easy. I did well :D

Pls give me a sample commentary of English 9093

I got it. They have never asked some of these questions before. Ever. Expect a lower boundary coz I don't think everyone would have done well in the new questions. I did :P

Sometimes, people find the hard papers easy and the easy papers hard. S13 QP 22 was supposedly very hard, but I managed to get 50/60 when the threshold for A was 37/60. Good job man, keep up the good work...

Lololol the variants are all different papers. If we got a question on topic A, you might not get topic A at all! Thus, the different variants have different grade boundaries. I personally found all the 21 papers easier than 22 when practicing so hopefully, you get a very easy paper :)

Nopenopenope. Here is something called the grade split-up. I found this in the syllabus booklets for all science subjects. MCQ = 31% Theory = 46% Practicals = 23%. This is for AS. Link to orig document: http://www.cie.org.uk/images/95890-2014-syllabus.pdf GOTO PAGE 7
