ums is the grade u get out of 120 raw is the mark on the paper out of 80 to get 96 ums marks aka A u need different amount of raw marks each year which varies according to student preformance -

i drew the graph and said y intercept equal to the E.m.f since current=zero and the gradient is the negative value of R so we multiply it by -1 to get the R i think i missed something -

well just add 10 marks to the A boundary so if it was 55 a 120 would be 65 and so on -

yaa first part i wrote difference between two filter is 90 so that they are perpendicular to eacch other second part i wrote that its polarized so waves only allowed to vibrate in one directions hence less intensity and finally i wrote that the light which was supposed to hit the left glass... -

drawing the graph was a mark and stating y-intercept is equal to the e.m.f because current is 0 is a mark or two and saying gradient gives the negative value of r and i think one mark explaining the shape of the graph Q1 its violin cause all instruments work based on standing waves opera singer... -

nah they check like always but grade boundaries will reach 60-62 for an A and 70-72 for 120 ums -

yup january 2013 66/80 is 120 , january 2010 a 55 was a full mark it was the lowest grade boundary that time :P just download edexcel raw to ums converter and check im pretty sure about all the boundaries -

ya some people found it hard :P i mean january 2012 45 was an A , january 2013 was 56 , june 2012 was 55 june 2011 was around 52 or something -

woaaah there the highest it ever been was 56 for unit 2 :P its usually pretty low
