well the center is 2,6 (from the equation) now find the gradients of radius p 6-0/2-10 = -6/8 or -3/4 now gradient of the line 4x-3y-40=0 arrange it so that y is the subjecct 3y=4x-40 y=4/3x-40/3 so gradient of this line is 4/3 4/3 * -3/4 = -1 so they are perpendicular -

well if we compress the 180 it becomes 90 and add 20 for example we got 110 but if we add 20 to 180 its 200 and then compress it becomes 100 :/ it matters -

but after u compress it the point -180 become -90 hence it could have been P wait do we translate first then compress ?
