    I know! Add sodium hydroxide... Bauxite is amphoteric Al2O3, so it dissolves Germanium oxide is a non metal oxide ( acidic ) , so it dissolves too Iron oxide is basic, so nothing happens :)

    You're totally true! Everyday or two I see people making topics about the curve and stuff like that. Just do your best and make sure that if you're destined for a star then you'll get it no matter what! Just thank god for the mark you get and stop worrying about the curves!

    ammonia is a base. sulphuric acid is an acid. acid+base react. You want to dry ammonia not to make ammonium sulphate ;)
