    Aluminium doent react with water due to presence of layer of oxide on its surface. Silicon and phosphorous do not react either. Chlorine reacts with water to form CHLORIC ACID (Cl-OH) Cl2(g) + H20(l) ----> HClO(aq) + H+(aq) + Cl-(aq)
