Physics P3 (Practical) Notes and Tips

My scale requires a bit of calculation, 1 small box is 0.04 units so counting without calculation is kind of risky. As for the mark schemes, all the recent ones give only one example of (3,10) as an awkward scale and that's it. My teachers in school marked my scale right but I have a niggling...

Physics P3 (Practical) Notes and Tips

When drawing a line of best fit, is it necessary for it to pass through points? What if you're getting a perfect line that doesn't pass through any points but has points balanced on its sides very close to it? Also, does taking 1 large box as 0.25 units qualify as awkward scale or not?

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

Is it important to know how to draw leading and lagging phase difference? Nowadays they just ask phase difference but in 2002 they asked for lagging which I don't really understand.

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

Someone please guide me! Wrong significant figures make you lose marks even if your answer is correct so it's like giving away marks. How do you guys determine the correct number of significant figures for any answer?

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

I am confused about significant figures in paper 2. I've always been told to give as many significant figures in the answer as the least number in the data provided e.g. If data has both 2 and 3 significant figures, the answer must have 2 as it's the number in the least precise data. However, in...

Well tough luck for me. This is probably hoping for too much but does CIE have a range for the supervisors value as well? What if the supervisor was wrong and everyone suffered because of him? I'm not blaming the supervisor, just curious to know.

Can you share your titration values? My supervisor and majority of my classmates got them in 22-24 range but I got it around 28.5. :( My readings were consistent in themselves though. 3 times they fell at around 28.5.

    Biology paper 11 gt

Endocytosis occurs when the cell membrane flows around the particle it wants to engulf which is only possible if the membrane is free to move about, that is, it has to be fluid. As for the other question, it can only be C because all other options mentioned 80s ribosomes to be present in either...
