Business Studies(9707) Post your doubts here

I believe it is due to the fact that both revenue and capital expenditure has varying purpose, length of time and amount. Revenue expenditure tends to be in short term and relatively smaller in quantity as compared to capital expenditure. As a result short term sources of finance such as...

    Math Paper 12 May/June 2013

    1. I believe it was rather some number divided by the "something squared" 2. The "some number" is a negative number, therefore it is the same as saying -3/4^2 which at the end will still give a negative value, no matter of what number you substitute into the "4".

    How was AS Math P1?

It was (x something)^2 as the denominator, which in turn makes the value positive. HOWEVER, as far as what I did (and as far as what I consulted with other people that did the paper with me) the numerator was a negative value, as a result the whole dy/dx is < 0 overall.

    How was AS Math P1?

I couldn't remember about my book having reflections on it as well, all I could remember is the properties of mirror from IGCSE physics and extended math. :P

    How was AS Math P1?

The one Ali Khan wrote above ^ is pretty much what the question is. I do not think anyone would remember the exact wordings of the question. All you have to do is find the reflection of point R (-1.3) on the line of 3y + 2x = 33.

    AFTER 24 hr .. P1 discussion here !

For K values in sequence, The two values of K are 63 and -21. I couldn't exactly remember the question, but I think it was ar^2 = 4a and ak = [a(1-r^6)]/1 - r Solving ar^2 = 4a r^2 = 4a/a, cancelling a will give you r^2 = 4 Remember that since it is square, your answer will come in BOTH...

I really couldn't remember the vector one, sorry to say, but if you are talking about the sequences that one should be it. :)

    Math Paper 12 May/June 2013

Right thank you for pointing it out. I can't remember what was 10B, but if we are talking about the K values, it would be -21 AND 63.

    Math Paper 12 May/June 2013

I think the dy/dx has a negative sign somewhere on it to make it < 0, I myself am not exactly sure what I wrote, but as far as I could remember that is what I did. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. :)
