    @ahsan99 Q13; since its an agriculture market, u're assuming that supply fluctuates. so after govt imposes that min price supply has increased to form the equilbrium at the price marked (horizontal btween y & z). and therefore the area within is your ans!

    It had the same difficulty level as p1 i.e average, or perhaps it was easier. I sortof messed my p1 up :[ hoping s1 covers it well for me!

    Yeah, net assets are all assets less all liabilities. And this isnt the only instance where the mark scheme showed an error :/

    I constantly make mistakes in these type of MCQS in eco.

    Since this is an agriculture market, we're supposing that supply fluctuates and therefore, after the govt. has guranteed the price OP1, supply had risen to give the new equilbrium price that has been marked (the one between y & z).

    Yep, 3.4% but it fell, not rise! The CPI had gone up by 15.4 while the wages by 12 only.

    Q13- The horizontal line between y & z is the market clearing price, while OP1 is the guranteed price. 'the govt pays the producers the difference between the two prices', which, as can be seen in the figure, is the area u+v+w+x+y
