    Chemistry Paper 33 Purity% answer of CaCO3 and what were the metal and anions

    My purity was 90 %. my titration results were very precise. all my question 2 except the observations was left. As the time finished. It pains me to discuss past paper. till now I have had bad luck in all paper. Though I had full prepration.

    I did alkane. I hadnot thought of tertiary alcohol at that time. Oxidation of alkane makes alcohol. So I think alkane makes more sense than alcohol. alcohol has a 2/3 probability of getting oxidized. http://www.uiowa.edu/~c004121/notes/ch12_3.pdf...

    how to calculate the percentage error? in my mock i Did 0.05 multiply by 2 (as two reading from burette) and divide by hundered mulitply by the Reading of burette but i got zero. marks.

Compound X was reacted with some oxidizing agent and the only organic product didnot give a positive result with 2,4 dnph and didnot react with acid to form ester, and perhaps some other things. one option...
