    salman pak rocks comment sums it up....there is no such thing as not being able to appear as private and school candidate....its just what school wants you to think because bad grades in extras ruin their reputation...if you still have doubt,email your query to british council and they will give...

    who said we cannot register.....my brother appeared for 4 subjects from school and 1 privately in A levels in may june 2012....there was no problem...this policy,its something your school says to ensure you dont ruin the reputation of the school by getting bad grades

    chris there is a book endorsed by cambridge ...better get that and if not than second best option is geography by david waugh........as far as AS is concerned the books will be suffice but for A-2 u would have to search the internet for appropriate case studies....
