    Biology paper 34

dude. you had to draw the layers the way you saw them on the slide, not how you knew them to be 'xerophytic' or 'hydrophytic'. you never draw what you know. you draw what you see. and in plan diagrams , layers are everything. you'll pro'ly get the mark for the labelling.

    Biology paper 34

did you draw what you saw on the slide? how can you draw a xerophyte or a hydrophyte? O.o I don't get it.

    Biology paper 34

one should not be concerned with it being xerophytic or hydrophytic, you just had to draw what you saw.

    Biology paper 34

i got 13:5. i was confused because there were two distinct vascular bundles seperated by a wall of cells. so i took the width across both xylem tissues rather than one. idk.

Chemistry and Biology Paper 34 ONLY

my practical went well. Alhamdulillah :) i had some problems though in question 2 in the ratio part. in the specimen, there were two distinct vascular bundles close together, so i did not know which xylem tissue to consider, one or both of them. Observable differences was fine as was the graph...

    AS Biology P34 Guesses

Red, in measuring depth we can obviously not measure from the zero mark so there'll probably be an error at both ends. I don't know. Sorry. :(

How can we friggin' use a standard plastic ruler with a microscope? There must have been another 'transparent ruler' that they are talking about.

I'm sorry. I don't get the question. are we measuring the actual thickness using a microscope or the figure? o_O What is the transparent ruler they are referring to?

    AS Biology P34 Guesses

because for scales, you take two readings and subtract them to get a measurement. hence, when compounded, the error becomes 0.5+0.5=1mm.
