HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

You guyz are thinking too much... just use a "wind speed detector", im assuming they wud accept it as we have never studied about any instrument that measures wind speed plus it was only one mark for "how to measure the independent variable [1]" there were many other important things that needed...

    Chemo P5 tips

From your graph, you find the mass/100g (solubility) at T= 85C and then the mass at T=35C Divide both masses by 2 because in the graph, the solubility is in mass/100g and in the question we'r dealing with 50g of potassium chlorate. So now subtract the 2 masses and you get the mass that...

    Chemo P5 tips

Dividing by 4 is incorrect. Suppose, initially you have 1000cm3 and 50g. When you add these you get a 1 mol/dm3 solution because Mr= 50. Now, when you divide both volume and Mr by 4, you're only decreasing the volume. The concentration remains the same. Calculation shows this: Moles = 12.5/50 =...

    Chemo P5 tips

The first calculation is incorrect as someone pointed out already. The second calculation is also incorrect. moles required in the 250cm3 solution = .250 x .5 = 0.125 mass required = moles x Mr = .125 x 50 = 6.25g (not 12.5g)

    Physics P4 Discussion

the variation in the mass for the magnetic question was +1.0g / -1.0g i think....caz u had to find the peak current from the rms then find the total change in mass which was around 4.6 and then the variation which was 4.6-3.6 = 1.0g caz 3.6 was the original reading when no current was flowing so...

Mistake in: Matter - Ideal Gases. <c2> is not the root mean square speed. It is the just the mean square speed of the atoms.
