    phys p 1 a small help

    Q 33: Answer= C this is because first u find the current in the whole circuit....R=V/I and therefore.... I=V/R total resistance in whole circuit= R1+R2 (they are in series)=10+20=30 12/30= 0.4 now u put that same current with teh resistor at Y: R=V/I V=RI= 20*0.4 8 V!

    go over your notes thoroughly.... never write your answer in lists( u get max of 3 marks out of 6) paraphrase your answers and yeah what hamza said....read the marking scheme thoroughly after eaxh paper to see how they want the answer to be like.... hope this helps! :)
