But he saw the pipe before he saw phelps bobbing head, and shribking shore was mentioned in the same sentence ad the former. Plus it doesn't add up...why would he want the reader to kbow that the water was moving inland? Well I dunno...I looked at the situation from his perspective

No no it didn't say very often or even 'too' for that matter. That's the main reason I actually wrote rescue. If it said that, I would've left the answer blank, cause I didn't see typical for some readob

But he wasn't coming toward phelps. I wrote that at first as well, but then I put myself in the writers shoes and asked myself why he would mean that. The tides moving in just didn't fit in with the context of the sentence

But that's a way of writing....that's how one writes descriptive essays. The writer already write a factual statement in the previous sentence, and he couldn't make this sentence sound the same so he weaved in the word 'rumored. I'd do that too, even when I would want to deliver a clear cut message'

But there weren't any tides, at least not near the shore. The boy travelled to far into the sea so the sea and the intensity of the waves in that region pulled him back. The shore appeared to be moving away from the boy, and when the other kid looked upon the former, he could barely see the...

And was the shore described as shrinking. I wrote that the boy and the pipe were moving further and further into the sea...it doesn't make sense now that I think about it. But I originally wrote that it was because the water was moving inland, and my answer najes more sense than that :p

Does anyone know how the percentile system works? Is it like the person who gets the highest possible marks, even if it is 140/150 gets a 100%, the people who get the second highest possible marks get a 99% even if it is 135/150? What do I suppose is the lowest mark one can get to get an a* in bio
