    This is just a suggestion but having done IGCSE Mathematics previously, I'd recommend you include the matrices of transformation as well, along with the graphical method of solving. They do come in real handy :) .

    I have a Casio fx-991, and it calculates the values of definite integrals very accurately. I can assure you 150%, the answer is 11/12 pie.

    Mind you, mechanics is based on pure math. And that question was a fine example of how well they can intertwine. The question was as much mechanics as it should be. It just requires some proficiency is pure topics. I don't see how they're losing what mechanics dealt with.

    I assume he's correct, I recall 5.6 and 10.6 or something similar. However, you misunderstood as basic concept. "u" means the initial speed. T is the time. If you calculate time to be 0.4, you HAVE to place the initial speed as 20, because that is the initial speed of the entire journey relevant...

    To be perfectly accurate the answer was 11pie/12, or 11/12 pie, depending on how you write it. And considering that they prefer 3 s.f., a better answer would be 0.917pie.

    Well if you did some correct working out, there's no way you'd get 0/9. Depending on how much of it you answered, it can be anywhere from 3-7/9.
