    Chemistry P31

actually if you look at it in math way the whole world is made of equations!! you can't just add your marks of the paper because each has a different weighing so that is what you do

    Chemistry P31

the guys principal apparently sucks.... i got my info from my uncle working in the british council ... you turn the marks on the paper to 100% and then you multiply by 2 to get your mark from 200 for example you got 40 out of 60 which is 20% from the whole syllabus in paper 6 and paper 3 you...

    Chemistry P31

many people got out of the exam thinking they answered right but believe me some are saying crap and telling lies about there exam and that they did good some people do bad but they don't know it :) so i say the curve will be low

    Chemistry P31

in electrochemistry, anode is where oxidation (loss of electron) occurs. Cathode is where reduction (gain of electron) occurs.

    Chemistry P31

the rode is A , because the it is on the anode and also because of the oxygen bubbles , and the mole ratio is 2:3:2 , and V was the answer on both equations it was oxidant because the oxidation number decreased and it gained electrons (it was reduced ) .. and the other one it was oxidised...

    Physics p61

yes the difference was more than 0.1 ,,,, it was 0.125 if i remember correct so i wrote it was not within the limits of experimental accuracy :)

Physics paper 6....a good easy paper

It is the printing , as sometimes it may go off scale a little bit , but in the external they use the same high quality BEAST printer to print all papers so yeah they are all the same :)

    How CIE calculate the curve

actually it was easy very easy , and do not look at o/n curves they are usually high because candidates are re-sitting an exam so they tend to get better grades while in m/j almost to all candidates this would be their first attempt at the externals :)
  17. Osmix1995

    How CIE calculate the curve

no paper 6 curve will not be high , because many candidates had no enough time to complete the tally chart...actually after the exam when we discussed the questions many ppl did not know that there was a chart they did not even reach there :) so yes the curve WILL be low :O
  18. Osmix1995

    How CIE calculate the curve

chemistry - although the main paper is in 2 days ( but i asume yes like all the years never got above 148/200) biology- many candidates found it to be challenging ( i found it dead easy i am hoping for 73+) physics - yes most candidates did miserably,horrible...etc... ( so yes it is gonna be...

    How CIE calculate the curve

they say how much percentage you got? DAMN i thought they just state that you got A*,A,B....etc :S

    How CIE calculate the curve

no way man , your school doesn't know about the GT apparently call the British Council in your country and check with them :)
