    Adding to that, the pentose sugar in a DNA doesn't have an oxygen (somewhere) ...so its called "Deoxyribose" (DNA~ Deoxyribonucleic acid) ) In case of RNA, it does have that missing oxygen... so its called "Ribose!" (Ribonucleic acid)
